Diagnosing Early Vision Problems
Grossnickle Eye Center maintains a supportive, kid-friendly atmosphere. Our offices are equipped with special technology to accurately evaluate pediatric vision.
We encourage families to schedule a thorough eye exam for their children prior to kindergarten. Children at an early age are not always able to express issues regarding their vision, and in fact, are often unaware that they have vision problems. This is especially true with pre-readers.
Children can experience conditions ranging from crossed eyes, lazy eye, blocked tear ducts and blurred vision. As with any patients, early diagnosis and treatment are important to a good outcome.
